I'll upload the video tomorrow but apparently a crush can fade if the other mii fumbles a conversation.
My example:
Zelos Wilder helps Wolf-kun (a Wolfos schoolgirl originally from TheStrawHatNo Majora's Mask and Tomodachi Life let's plays).
Wolf-kun gets a crush on Zelos.
My brother jokes that Zelos would say "I have that effect on people."
Later on he yaps so long in a conversation that Wolf-kun falls asleep, finds her crush faded, and now they're gone backwards in their friendship...
Zelos would probably still say "I have that effect on people..."
