I just realized that Petrel can’t actually, like, drink water normally. Since it would freeze around his face if he put his snout into the water. What he does is put a talon on the surface to freeze some, then just kinda scoop up a chunk of ice and eat it.
He would also have stronger jaw muscles than most IceWings, since all the food he eats is frozen solid
