SDFGHJ I LOVE PROFESSOR ED SO MUCH I FEEL IT IN MY BONES I think most of my headcanons are literally this post ashfakfÂ
IDK i just feel like later on in his life he somehow gets offered this job and he’s like sure why not lol so the fam moves to central if they’re not already thereÂ
teaches something having to do with alchemy, maybe alchemy theory or something like that since he can’t actually do alchemy, IDK, ed you can do whatever ur heart desires ily
and he has NO IDEA how to teach but the students actually love it because he’s wild and does a lot of experiments and it’s super engaging
plus everyone thinks of him as the Cool Young Hip teacher and a lot of students come visit his office just because they all love him and think he’s hot but ed’s so clueless he’s like wow everyone loves to learn! :)
anYWAY idk I always headcanoned that he and Winry hyphen their names to Elric-Rockbell, so he goes by Professor Rockbell, and so no one notices he’s like….Edward Elric, the fullmetal alchemist, then of course the news breaks somehow and spreads through school, as rumors always do in school and all the kids are like HSALFJSKFLAJ WAIT OUR NERDY TEACHER IS THAT HOT KID IN OUR TEXTBOOKS FROM THE PROMISED DAY AHSFLKAJFA
