#wolf earrings

Ok, confession time: I don’t like making earrings. Way too much fiddly work, way too much time for something so small, and then I never feel comfortable with the pricing, and end up knocking the price down, because it seems too much for me. But, on the other hand, I end up with the feeling that I’m not getting paid for my time. Do you see my problem?

But, with all that said, I really like this pair, and I enjoyed working on them.

The small beads are labradorite. They flash a bit of dark blue, when the light hits them at the right angle. And yes, there’s a bit of blue on one of the moons - it’s because the patina didn’t progress enough for the dark grey, but I decided I really liked how that turned out, even though I was aiming for uniformly dark colour.

Both wolves are also stamped with crescent moons on the back, because of course they are. I just can’t make something without a crescent moon on it somewhere. I may have a problem.
