Music is dead but i still downloaded some this year. Here it is: YG - Still Brazy I heard this was good but havent even played it yet. Hmm. Wild Nothing - Life of Pause Forgot about these dudes for a minute. Not the worst but not the best. Whitney - Light Upon The Lake Fun voice! A few killer tunes but not all together outstanding. This will keep getting spun. Sunflower Bean - Human Ceremony I think they played in Buffalo twice this year and some how i missed em both times. For shame. The Strokes - Future Present Past This 3 song ep just made me want to listen to Room on Fire again instead. But also Angles too (check that i meant First Impressions). Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool Oh hell yeah a real legit great album! Not their best but "these days" you have to lower expectations. The video for Burn the Witch was prescient. Pinegrove - Cardinal Poor man's Ryan Adams. Parquet Courts - Human Performance Nicolas Jaar - Sirens Mitski - Puberty 2 M83 - Junk Didnt really bring back the joy that his last album brought. :/ Kanye West - Life of Pablo 5 or so really good songs with a lot of weird shit in between. (One of the only concerts i attended in 2016) La Times - Sorry for the Weight Pride of buffalo baby Frankie Cosmos - Next Thing Poor man's Courtney Barnett Frank Ocean - Blonde Everyone said i had to. DIIV - Is This Is Are Album title makes me hurt. Forgot this shit came out ita been such a long year. Not as good as their first album Death Grips - Bottomless Pit Oh hell yeah son. Chance the Rapper - Coloring Book Probably my most played of the year. Comes on like fire fire but ends with a bit of a whimper Animal Collective - Painting With Need to stew with this a bit more

Damn this was a shit year, at least as much as usual. But man there were a lot of shitty people to: 1. Chris Collins This ass hat failure of a county executive endorsed Trump way before it was politically prudent to do so which means he actually likes that olive loaf of a human. Not sure if he hates the poor, taxes or the environment the most. 2. Byron Brown What does this guy do besides organize his suits, give depositions for lawsuits and take credit for being mayor at time when things are getting modestly better in Buffalo? Has he ever had an idea? 3. Tim Murray He wears glasses! He is surly and drinks! He works the media like a new catchers mitt! He makes terrible trades, signs players with bloated contracts and runs one of the worst franchises in any sport. 4. Carl Paladino Too easy. 5. That guy that shot the 12 year old Some gangster that shot a 12 year old kid on a porch that was trying to get his family inside. What a pussy, you deserve to rot.

Wowzer 2016 sucked, but dont they all? Here are the worst streets in Buffalo: 1. Niagara Has anyone in this area ever used a crosswalk? How there isnt a daily death because some dickhead was standing on the double yellow line trying to return cans at Tops i'll never know. Will construction ever end? Will it some how be worse? 2. Elmwood Ave (near Buff state) This clusterfuck of an area is the pits. Granted bridge comstruction is finished but that doesnt make me forget the anguish of trying to get through this thoroughfare at any time during any day. 3. Allen Its funny to watch people try to make turns down any of the side streets that dont permit it. That alone should forgive this street but it makes the list because its so damn narrow. 4. Huron Perpetually stuck behind a bus whilst driving into a crater of a pothole. What a nightmare. Whyyy 5. Delaware Ave (near Forest lawn) I go 40 and get passed like im standing in a laundry basket. Why did they paint the bike lanes green?

Holy smokes 2016 sucked, then again doesnt every year? Here are the worst newspapers in Buffalo 2016: 1. Artvoice Nah, not just because this shithole paper gives space all the time for Carl "ku klux" Paladino to spew hate. Ita because this paper is horrible. All their writers left, they provide no insight or entertainment outside of a syndicated Weird News column and its just a bore. Whats with the tranny sex they sell in the back? WHERE ARE THE TOM TOMORROW CARTOONS GOD DAMN IT FUCKFUCKFUCK??? That was their only reason to pick up this free umbrella. 2. The Buffalo News Their sports writers are more angry than me, they lost their main columnist and replaced him with news from the burbs and copy and paste 90% of their content from he Times or Washington Post. Oh and no im not going to retweet that their writers deserve a new contract. 3. East Clinton Shopper Anyone still shop on east clinton street? This rag is more useless than sun block in February.

Man 2016 was a shit year, just like most. Here are the worst Buffalo bars of 2016: 1. Cole's God damn its crowded in there. No elbow room what so ever! Also why is that tiny chalk board with all the beers listed so tiny, way too high up and in the pitch dark? Beer is too expensive too. 2. ABV Very similar complaints to Coles and coincidentally the same owner. Some how the beers are even more expensive, there is even less room and $20 for a burger is a steal err robbery. 3. Brickbar Mostly a cash bar, tons of wasted space, no draft beer and the last time they had a renovation i had hope in life. Actually i dont think they ever had a reno (then again i never had hope either). At least the back bar sells coffee when its open. 4. Cobblestone Bar Dart board system for hours of operation and it seems like they are just open to jam customers looking to crush a pint before a lousy Sabres game. Smart! Mostly make the list because wifey tried to piss here last year and they rejected her because she wasnt a customer. Cut throat! 5. Doc Sullivans Kind of nit picking but where the hell is quick draw? I feel like they are costing the State millions not showing those numbers fly every 23 seconds. Bartenders were slow AF and they didnt know what channel the Sabres game was on. Huh? Good roast beef pile tho. -steve

2016 sucked about as bad as any year so lets run through the worst asshats in the media this year: 1. Bucky Gleason Is there a bigger (literally) asshole around? There is little chance even this guys family likes him, holy shit. 2. Jerry Sullivan Do a shot for every time this fuckboy mentions Tom Brady is the best QB ever and you'll die of alcohol poisoning. What an old asshole. Why doesnt he just move back to Massachussets and fuckoff already. 3. Jeremy White Good call with the Sabres tanking bud. I wonder if he got engaged this year I havent heard anything about it. He is at every bar I ever go to, fml. 4. John Murphy This guy is a slob. He humps the Bills more than anyone in the business.
