tired body drags itself to the bed laid out for him within the private room. once again, another tiresome delivery that has taken miles upon miles of walking and running. perhaps it's the sleepiness still clinging to himself as he slowly rises, the lights brightening and tuned out words. sluggishly, he walks over to the sink, checking himself out to an extent. however, something golden catches his attention in the corner of his eye, spinning on spot, backed to the sink.Â
"higgs." despite his initial demeanour, his voice is calm, steady. the gold bearing mask fucker. he'd once had a nightmare like this, however never did he wish to see it happen. "what the hell are you doing here.." only knowing of fragile being able to jump to the private rooms he stayed at. this encounter feeling nothing like the past ones, it feels more threatening, nothing to defend himself within reach, helpless in a sense.
The man truly was oblivious when he was worked hard enough. Higgs had been in Samâs private room for a while as he slept on that thin mattress. The UCA demanded so much out of Sam, Higgs knew he wouldnât get nearly as much sleep as heâd need and would be up soon enough. The terrorist was prepared to wait patiently while leaned up against the wall by Fragileâs umbrella.
It was amazing. Higgs had to stifle a chuckle when Sam shuffled to the sink.
âYou sleep like a rock, Sam.â He pushed himself from the wall and walked a few paces forward, activating the showerâs door sensor when he stopped in front of it. âJust wanted to get an idea how Americaâs hero rests up for another long day of toilinâ for the man.â
Sam still looked tired, sleep still clung to his eyes. Higgs smirked. âAinât ya tired yet, Sammy?â The terrorist knew how shit would play out -- Sam would defeat him in the end. But that didnât mean he couldnât crawl into the porterâs head every now and then to scramble things up.
