What’s Making Me Happy This Week: Tunde Olaniran - Namesake

The massive chorus on this track by the artist from Flint, Michigan has been my happy place, my daily pick-me-up for a couple of weeks now (Thanks, NPR Music’s Austin 100!) Then I discovered the corresponding music video - amazing!

Also great this week, but more local: Queergestreift, a local LGBTI film festival. I got to see Moonlight (I had really high expectations, and the movie exceeded them all) Coming Out (the first and only gay movie from the former German Democratic Republic, an interesting and well-made portrait of 1989) and The Fits (an magic movie about black girlhood, dance, gender, and coming-of-age. Watch out for director Anna Rose Holmer and young actress Royalty Hightower)  A couple of great movies are still coming up, the festival is on at Zebra Kino Konstanz until next week.

- missed first two days from school which is nice, right?

- spent some quaaaallity time with a friend from my childhood

- went on a shopping therapy yesh

- weeent on a coffee with someone i hate, but acted natural and normal, which im very proud of 

- last day of this week was GREAT (you really dont need details)

- also i read and watched the fault in our stars (finally, i know) (also dont think its that great but okay) movie ref x

- mondays adventures: got my thg book; blabbering with punk-ages hpldg believe-in-magic7 valio-turner deadcatalyst 

- tuesdays adventures: sleepover ft. punk-ages ; waking up quite early and gkakahin in general

- wednesdays adventures: catched a cold and stayed in bed the whole day (worth it, missed mother)

- thursdays adventures: about three coffees with valio-turner and gkakahin; dentist appointment which turned out not as bad as i thought

- fridays adventures: starbucks. a lot of starbucks. i also met abc-maikata and  bali-go and cried cause they pretty af.

- plus i bought like nine books and im super excited to read them at school c: (the hunger games, tfios, the selection, krabat)

- downloaded a bunch of good movies with nice quality so i can watch them later

- also loads of music (pretty much everything by alt-J and coldplay)

- im rly trying to keep this lists full with positivity, but this monday sucked harder than your mum

- thursday was sorta boring and nothing happened

- traveling to bulgaria was pretty awesome, no traffic and only 18 hours in a car

- passed my sport exams like fiinally
