1, 3, and 5 for the writer asks
1. From one to five stars, how would you rate your writing? (No downplaying yourself!) 3.5 maybe 4 stars. I think I’m too slow of a writer and have a tendency to info dump and maybe be too detailed in my writing? I also don’t think I have the most engaging or distinctive style, so those are some things to work on.
3. What do you think makes your writing stand out from other works? I’ve had a couple of readers comment on a couple of stories before that reading my writing is like watching a movie?? Honestly I’m so happy whenever I see that comment because it tells me that I’ve been successful in helping people create a little world inside their heads which I hope they have fun exploring ^^
5. What’s the fic you’re most proud of? I’m proud of a couple of fics for different reasons. In order of publishing (from most recent to oldest):
Prisms and pixie dust [T, Haikyuu!!, Iwaoi, Soulmate AU, 16k words] This got done from concept stage to ready-for-posting in like 3 months and I can’t believe that happened xD I’m mostly proud of how much angst I squeezed into this one 😂
Watch Me Catch the Sky [T, Yuri!!! On Ice, Viktuuri, Dragon AU, 39k words] This was a super stressful fic to write and I’m so proud that I made it to the finish line and posted it.
Born of Ash, Raised by Fire [T, Haikyuu!!, Semi Eita, Fantasy AU, 7k words] I’ve reread a couple of my old fics and found that I didn’t like them as much but this one is one that I think is still pretty good and that just makes me so happy :D It’s totally high fantasy with magic and shit and I’m really proud of the worldbuilding in this fic!
Thanks for the ask! They were fun to answer!!
