#wiztail

wiztail reunion! originally started this with the intention of posting for the last odaiba day, but i wasn’t able to finish it in time to post publicly. this is both a redraw of an extremely old watercolor painting i did...wow, around a decade ago now? wild--and it’s also the basis for my two-set wiztal pin design i’ve mentioned and sneak-peeked before!

it was incredibly fun revisiting some old art--i know going from traditional to digital in addition to so many years since the original is a big jump in terms in comparisons, but it was still really cool seeing how much my art and style have improved and changed over the years!

i know i had other digidog designs to go along with the gabu pins currently being funded but consider this. i like these two more so what if these were next

black is my default inking color but i was also considering either gold or rose gold metal plating if these designs were to be made into pins. my idea for this design is to have it be a pin set of two, with the background being a backing card large enough to hold both.

i had fun putting together this design and backing card mockup so you guys can have it here too <3

more wiztail!! lov these two... was messing around with CSP’s calligraphy brush back when I finally installed clip onto my new comp last month. it’s very fun!! 

this has been on twitter for a while now so y’all might have seen it already but...! I rewatched adv02 recently and, oof, the Odaiba episode still gets me... me being me, I immediately had to go draw the happy reunion they deserved!! 

would you believe me if I said I used to draw these two all the time?? good times...
