"What do people like to put in baskets?" Xingchen asks. He makes the baskets but he's never sold them with anything in it. Perhaps if he added things in them he can sell more. It's an idea at least.

"hannah." emily had known the twins were in the city, though as long as she'd been there hadn't actually run into them yet. they didn't know what they could say to her. it was like staring at a ghost.

el glanced down at the little shopping basket she was holding on to, trying to make it seem like she was actually putting thought into buying more than the three boxes of frozen toaster waffles she'd put in there. "okay, so the entire city just.. put a hit out on people? that's what we're working with? that's kind of funny honestly." alani had been listening in to the other comments, not one hundred percent if she was getting all the right information, but that seemed to be the gist. "you need someone killed or something? we could help out, for a price."

And, not only because Yen had been worried sick about him. No, it was more than he was not healing the same way anymore as back home. It made Geralt feel more human. More... vulnerable...

And now… was that Ciri at the other side of the street? Sometimes Geralt had already felt like seeing her. But it had always ended up being another young woman with blonde hair. It made Geralt wonder sometimes if the two of them were simply meant to always get seperated again…

But this time, Geralt was sure. “Ciri!” He called, slowly walking up towards her. He needed to keep himself together, even when he wanted nothing more than to have her at his side again.
