"What do people like to put in baskets?" Xingchen asks. He makes the baskets but he's never sold them with anything in it. Perhaps if he added things in them he can sell more. It's an idea at least.

"hannah." emily had known the twins were in the city, though as long as she'd been there hadn't actually run into them yet. they didn't know what they could say to her. it was like staring at a ghost.

And, not only because Yen had been worried sick about him. No, it was more than he was not healing the same way anymore as back home. It made Geralt feel more human. More... vulnerable...

And now… was that Ciri at the other side of the street? Sometimes Geralt had already felt like seeing her. But it had always ended up being another young woman with blonde hair. It made Geralt wonder sometimes if the two of them were simply meant to always get seperated again…

But this time, Geralt was sure. “Ciri!” He called, slowly walking up towards her. He needed to keep himself together, even when he wanted nothing more than to have her at his side again.

"Mary..." Regulus begins, narrowing his eyes and furrowing his thick brows as he speaks. "It's... it's nice meeting you, too."

“woah-- woah.” it would have been almost impossible not to see the other in the crowd, eyes going wide at the almost exact copy of herself staring right back at her. she’d seen enough wild magic in this city already, and enough back home, but a random twin like this? that was new. “holy-- wait, wait, this isn’t some like weird part of the festival, right? you look like that normally?”
