She'd sent a note to Tobias about meeting at the bookstore, she'd wanted to check on him, but had been dissuaded from visiting his home. She'd decided that the bookstore was a place where anyone could be found, and it would also be quiet enough for them to talk comfortably amongst themselves. What Lady Whistledown had written about him far outweighed anything she'd insinuated about her, which left her slightly worried. Their friendship was new, but that didn't mean that Catherine wouldn't worry about him.
She also wanted to use the opportunity to see if she could find some new reading material, there were many books in her home but the library had belonged to her father, and she wanted to be able to add a few books she would enjoy owning as well. She moved farther into the shop, eyes scanning book titles until there was one that caught her interest, she pulled it out of it's resting spot and opened it. The little bell at the door sounded, indicating someone had walked in and she turned her attention to the door to see that it was her friend. "Tobias" she called out in a loud whisper, "This way"
