She was in desperate need of new reading material, she'd slowly been attempting to branch out when it came to what she was reading. All of her usual favorite books were not leaving her feeling as fulfilled as they used to, which meant she might need a break. Upon entering the bookshop, she asked one of the workers for recommendations, hoping they'd be able to guide her in something more interesting to read. The young man returned with a small stack of books, ranging from poetry to a biography she might enjoy. She thanked him, opening one of the books to peruse the pages, it was the biography, a very cut and dry one if she was being perfectly honest. She put the book on the small table and moved onto the fiction book, which had promise. She took a few moments on each book, if it immediately caught her interest then she'd purchase it, but if it didn't, she would discard it. The last book was poetry, not something she was particularly fond of, but she did promise herself that she'd at least peruse every book. Unfortunately for her, this particular book was not ideal to introduce her to poetry as she found that she did not find the poetry particularly inspiring. "A pity, I thought poetry was meant to inspire emotion" she commented more to herself, not really aware that she was not alone.
