The collision was a shock. For a moment, she stayed in her car, not sure how to react. But seeing the state of her so called car, there was no way she’d be able to just get home in it. So unsteadily, she managed to walk out, only to end up sitting on the sidewalk. There were people coming, but she just pushed them away. Surely, one would’ve called the cops already, and they would be here any minute. But she was fine, and she refused to go to the hospital for this. There was only one other way around it, and still pushing people aside, she picked up her miraculously intact phone to call the only number that was on speed dial. “Kyle? I need you to come pick me up. I’m texting you my address.” She didn’t even wait for his answer, already hanging up to text him the corner she was at.
