I finally got batteries for my electronic candles, no more stealing candles from my mom!
Finally, a candlesitter-free-safe-candle lit for my purple goddess — I always wondered which goddess I should offer her to. Today, I found my answer : myself.
So if nothing else, let this serve as your reminder : you are so wonderfully uniquely you. And that’s beautiful. And you need to care for and devote yourself to yourself as well. That’s not only where it ends, but it’s more importantly where it starts.

(KIDDING!! My mom is an unwitting but fully consenting part of my practice by allowing me to raid her candle stash has she has no care for her candles and also, she’s the one who found those itty-bitty batteries that were sold out in two stores until her boyfriend found some. I’m very grateful.)
