Having the ability to assist with charity efforts is something They are no stranger to, and while Their own flavor was lost (and Their diet changed to bland, plain meals to reflect such), Doughael still understands that all living beings need to eat.

Serving in a soup kitchen...They used to do similar, before Their appointment to High Forkbearer. Though these kitchens had to make do with finding small enough silverware for Them to use to assist, They did their best to help.

"Would you taste this for Us? Our body is not particularly equipped to these foodstuffs."

"Ah, there were very few schools where I'm from, actually. One was actually sponsored by an orphanage I'd taken to running..."

Her hands are folded politely -- how the conversation had even shifted here, she wasn't quite sure (likely, because this girl looked so close in age to some of the Blood members, namely Nana and Romeo), but it wasn't unpleasant. She'd heard there were also some schools in Germany, and knew from communications with Fenrir's Far East branch that they provided recruits and sanctioned civilians with basic educational materials, but proper schools...they didn't really exist. (Much government to regulate a school system didn't, either.)

"Magnolia Compass' education system was more focused on survival knowledge and combat tactics, though. I don't suppose we had anything like the school systems you, and many of the other children here, would know well."

Ah, now that Rachel dwells on it, hadn't she been lucky? She'd obtained a proper education, could use technology fairly well, and was still learning how to take care of herself...not so bad in the long run, given just how dim a future she'd come to realize she must have been from. (She has to ask the next questions, things utterly foreign to her -- she was not born in peacetime, or in a time of functional cities with nice stores and schools and restaurants...)

"Did you have anything like...erm...afterschool clubs? Or any hobbies after your classes?"

"Skorupi, that's rude. Get back here."

Begging a stranger for her food...how ill-mannered her Pokemon was being, scuttling back and forth while the girl tried to eat a donut -- Klara gives a crisp snap of her fingers, the scorpion-like creature trotting back to her as if ashamed of her own behavior.

"Sorry, I must've spoiled her a little too much lately...she's usually more well-behaved."

It must be frightening to see something so large, clacking at you in a demand of something you can't identify; she's surprised the girl hadn't screamed and run away yet.

"She, um...she likes sweets, since I eat them after I work out."
