Soft. If there was one way to perfectly summarize Richard’s body language around Emelia, it’s that. Soft. At the beginning, of course, due to their rather rocky history, Richard was very reserved with her-- Leaning away, walking with a few inches or centimeters between them, eyes glancing away when they spoke now and again, arms crossed, shifting of legs, etc. However, now, he’s a lot more relaxed and himself. For example, when they walk, he keeps close; especially when he rests his hand behind his back, only to quietly hold Emelia’s from behind. Other times, especially when in a crowded area, he’ll just flat out hold her hand, or scoop his arm round her shoulders. Richard has also learnt to be quite cheeky around her. For example, he can stand in front of Emelia and reach his hand behind her, as if pretending to be getting something from the shelf, only to linger for a few seconds longer. Waiting, as if he were about to give her a kiss. It’s only when before their lips touch that he pulls away. That’s just one example of course <3

I love writing with her so much and I love it when we get to talk OOC, there are very few people who my muses get to be their most authentic selves with and hers is one of them! If I had a bucket of hearts and stars I would just dump it on the mun, she's outstanding and deserves so much love and kindness

“You must understand that I am not often a part of such FOLLIES,” she begins, seeking if noting else to salvage her wounded pride. “I am no petty dabbler with herbs, though I claim no true expertise with this same breath. It is only that. Norns, the scent has not abated and Nidhogg has been gone for DAYS now. It worked, but at WHAT COST?” Parenthetically, of course, the queen is seeking HELP, but only between her words.

Stepping over the bodies he smiles. “Amelia,” all but his canines retract, “I was starting to get worried you weren’t going to make it tonight. It’s be so damn long, how have you been?”

“Does this mean I’m nothin’ more than a bunch of shattered pieces taped together. I’m just a bunch of echoes. A ghost.” You are still yourself, no matter what.” She continued, trying to reassure him. “You are still Richard Mayhew, never doubt that.”
