          he'd blame it on his adhd -- it being the shattering of an object           that didn't belong to him. maybe, if only it weren't so compelling to touch, it           could have survived, as he wouldn't have had any urge to touch the glass.           but percy acted without thinking, taking the object into his own hands, only           to fumble & drop it moments later.

          percy's lips pursed as he stared at the mess he'd made, a rush of stupidity           washing over him. hopefully, it hadn't been anything of importance, or else           he would be doomed. & after all he's survived, he did not want his life to           come to end because he'd dropped something. after what seemed to him           like hours, he picked his head up to give the girl an apologetic glance, along           with a poor excuse for an explanation.
