Epic witch cottage in the works! I haven’t been this excited about a drawing in a long time. With the wheel turning and weather breaking, I’m happily wrapped in Autumn bliss. 🍁 With it comes new inspiration of a cozy cottage, medicinal herbs lining the path that leads to the talisman-covered front door. The shining eyes of familiars peer from the shadows and grow brighter with every step you take down the cobblestone path. In addition to the creatures lurking in the plants, you get a sense that something else, something bigger, is watching you. Arriving at the front door, the golden glow emitting from the stained glass windows seems to brighten. In this illumination you can better see the details of the peculiar cottage— mismatched bricks that seem to rise and fall, the sweet scent of sap dripping from the cracked mortar, and with a closer look at the thatched roof you notice what you thought was hay and twigs is something much finer, silk-like and shimmery in the moonlight. As you reach for the serpentine doorknob, the wind picks up and the house itself lets out a echoing howl that transforms into a cackle.
