@witchbxttle ♡'d for a starter!
it was true that, on some level, vampires were social. as social as any human, drolta supposed, though she hated to make the comparison. but it was also equally true that vampires didn't necessarily seek each other out, not unless they had an ulterior motive of some sort. grouping together for power, for territory, for influence—those were all common. but for pleasure, companionship? true, it happened, but it wasn't something drolta felt the need to pursue. after all, most other vampires were beneath her.
but in this place, catching the scent of another one of her kind did... intrigue her, if nothing else. enough for her to pause, head tipping slightly as her steps altered their direction. after all, it wouldn't do to be surprised, not while she was weakened so.
so it was with curious eyes that drolta beheld the caped man before her, lips curved with a smile almost mocking in its nature.
❝ My, my, what is this? ❞ an arm came up across her chest, a support for the other as a nail gently tapped her cheek ponderingly. ❝ I didn't expect to see another vampire here, at least not so soon. So, tell me, who are you? ❞
