Hmmmm gay awakening...I did have an absolutely giant crush on Esmeralda as a kid. I dragged my parents to the live show they did at Disneyland any time we went when I was little. However, my mom also came out as a lesbian when I was 3, and hilariously enough I asked her if her being gay made me half gay, since I understood that my father being Mexican made me half Mexican and I thought it worked the same. She laughed and explained, but turns out I'm a second generation gay after all 😂

So wait, would you really want accent samples? I'm SoCal born and raised but I don't sound like a surfer or valley girl. I'm actually kind of curious if you guys would think I even have an accent. Though I did have a college interpersonal communications professor once say we go slightly higher at the end of a sentence, making it sound almost like a question. Sorry if I'm not explaining it right 😅 it's been years since I took her course and I can never hear the accent myself obviously.

Oh I saw some people had mentioned The Wayhaven Chronicles, just thought I'd mention the author actually has a Tumblr @seraphinitegames where she talks about the books and does updates on how her writing is going if people want to check it out. Both books are really good, the second one just released a few days ago. I've already finished it but am still looking forward to going back and playing a different route.
