She will always try to use her spells to do stuff, even when it's more practical to do them non-magically.

Like, if you get a small cut, she will be getting out her spellbook before you can get a bandaid.

If you say you don't need help, she'll say it's for practise.

"Illi, I'm fine. It's just a papercut." "Please, you know I need to get better at healing spells"

She keeps all of her stuff in one room, although she doesn't label all of it.

She says she knows what's what, although you're pretty sure she's messed up a few potions because of it

But mostly, she has control over it

"What's this?" "Rose thorns." "And this?" "Uh, I think they're eagle beaks?"

If you need a makeover, she'll help you

She might make a potion to make your skin clearer, or your hair less messy

And if you think about dying your hair, she'll help you try different colours to see what's best beforehand

"I'm not sure that fits you that well," "Maybe if you make it a bit lighter?"

She has definitely given you the wrong potion for something at least once

Or put a spell on you she didn't mean to (more on that here)

She will try her best to fix it

Unless she thinks you seem better than usual

"Illi McMillin. Get these cat ears off me now." "But you look so cute!"

Speaking of cats, she definitely has a black cat

She claims the cat is magical as well, but you doubt her

She also claims the cat is very scary and bites, but she will immediately cuddle up in your lap if she can

"Hey little cutie," "She's not a cuddle cat!"

She has so many candles, in different colours, scents and sizes

She has almost burnt her place down because of them

Probably multiple times

And she's not great at organising them

But she's very specific with which one she's using

"Won't this one work?" "No, that's lemon. I'm looking for bergamot, it's somewhere around here"
