I’d like to imagine Jax (once they’re not fully abstracted) going to Wisper to ask about its experience and feelings with being trans and how it went about it :]

So what would Wisper’s critique be? Well, Wisper has always been the closest to and most forgiving of Caine because it’s adopted the poor habit of thinking of him as a child. And while he is child like in some capacities and he doesn’t always fully understand what he’s doing, he’s still responsible. Especially DURING the events of episode 8. Wisper would be hesitant to join the others in their critiques. But Caine would goad them on. Saying that surely they were hiding SOME kind of negative feelings behind how they treated Caine. And how, oh weren’t they going to side with their fellow humans? They couldn’t abandon them. With Wisper giving in and admitting “Even at times when you didn’t fully intend or understand how you’re hurting us, you’re still responsible. But you never take responsibility for your actions.” So Caine, having access to Gabriel’s Wisper’s mind files, points out that even though they blame themselves for the kid that died at the daycare, they never faced legal repercussions (because they weren’t actual at fault. It was a freak accident that they couldn’t have prevented). So Wisper would be surrounded  by pointing fingers and shouting in a court room with its arms chained together in hand cuffs in its nightmare.
