To quickly note, I received this for free from Wishtrend for my honest review, this post is not sponsored.
This product contains 30 ml (1.01 oz) and has a notable slightly acidy/herbal scent.
The serum comes in a nice sturdy amber glass bottle with a dropper.
The serum is clear with no artificial colors.
It's very watery and not a lot is needed to cover the face.
It absorbs quickly with a slightly tacky finish.
Recommended use is after cleansing, prep the skin with toner. Apply 4-5 drops over dull areas that lack elasticity and gently pat until it fully absorbs. When using during the daytime, apply a UV filter with SPF15 or higher. After using, this serum is touted as a more gentle version of By Wishtrend's Pure Vitamin C 21.5% Advanced Serum (review). I found this serum to be just that. There was no irritation and it did a good job of soothing redness. It definitely does its job to help remove dead skin and clear skin of elements that could dull it. I did notice it starting to remove a beauty mark on my cheek, it wasn't painful but I'd recommend not using this on beauty marks if you want to keep them. :) The scent of this serum isn't my favorite, but it has a scent that's not artificial and it does disappear after a little while. I found it helpful to allow the serum to soak into the skin and apply a more hydrating serum afterward and then my moisturizer and I felt that it kept my skin smooth and non-flaky for the day. As with any vitamin C serum, don't overuse it as it'll irritate the skin but it is overall very gentle. I'd recommend this to people with sensitive skin, oily or combination skin, and to people who are beginners in using vitamin C serums.
What I like: this serum is very gentle and doesn't irritate the skin when used in moderation and as directed. It layers well with other skincare and it really does brighten and remove dullness and even redness from the skin. It goes on easily and is very lightweight. It has nice ingredients and it comes with a dropper. What I don't like: this does have a scent that's not my favorite but it's not an irritant.
