Yesterday's Jeans Presents: Wishful Thinking
I know it's wrong but this season I'm majorly craving fur. I'm not ready to commit to a full coat in this amazing fabric so I chose to add this Fendi coat to my dream wardrobe. (Bonus: It's cashmere!) I think this coat is perfect for both work and play, I styled looks I would incorporate the coat into for both.
Looking at this coat I instantly think of the 60s and Jackie O. She was a definite inspiration in the pieces I chose initially. I think she would've looked fabulous in this dress and totally work appropriate. One of the things I love about Jackie O's style is how she tied accessories into her looks, that's why I had to choose the matching fur hat. To put a little me in the mix, I added these mismatched shoes and gloves.

This look was inspired by the daughters of the women who emulated Jackie O and her amazing style. I imagined what I would wear if I'd grown up in those times and borrowed my mom's coat. I love the sparkle of this sequined dress and the cohesive contrast of the deep red velvet and the navy cashmere.
