I'm certain he was also written to be irritating, even when I was first playing this game as a kid I remember quickly growing tired of the talking cat plush. Also didn't get enjoyment out of fighting as him.

Perhaps he’s been fidgeting a little too obviously with the white mug before him, restlessly so, with fingers drumming against the body. It’s content by now cold and no longer enjoyable. Green eyes stares holes into the wooden table, brows furrowed in concentration, doing his very best to avoid meeting his sister’s eyes. Goodness, the nerves. 

She speaks, finally, in what feels for him like hours of silence, and his movements freezes. Quickly he looks up in surprise, hands moving to push his glasses further up his nose.

Her head shook, gesture to dismiss the apology, then fixating her gaze on her younger sibling. Yet such words to hear from her were rather comforting than the constant whispers of the souls whom passed on. Very clear chants from the unfortunate souls: time is ticking, why must I pay for it. Her mind erase the anguish thoughts while reflecting on the sisterhood. From such a strain beginning from her early maturity to the realization of her actions that were causing the tensions. ‘ No. I’m sorry. ’ were the words that is urged to escape however, she halt her tongue.
