Your mileage definitely may vary if running is your intended use. They work great for Ned (the guy who recommended them), but I have yet to make them work. For running. Either way they’re $15 :)

Training is over (almost)
I did my last swim of the 70.3 training plan this morning. Tomorrow I rest. Saturday I will do a short ride and run and maybe a short swim, but that’s more to check everything out than for training.
I’m really looking forward to the race. I don’t have a time goal because I just have no idea what will happen. I want to:
Finish
Have fun
Do the best I can
I am really going to try to appreciate the fact that I am actually participating in a half ironman. This might be the only one!
My bib # is 1720 if anyone would like to track me at ironman.com on Sunday. My wave starts at 7:44 Eastern time.
Hopefully I’ll be able to post some photos of the expo, etc. But in case I don’t make it on to tumblr before Sunday, best of luck to wiserstrongerbetter, who is also racing. You’re gonna kill it Sunday!
