Sean didn't have a high opinion of Colm. He didn't know too much of the man; just the stuff everyone else knew. But he could see why Dutch wasn’t fond of him. He wasn't present when Anabelle was killed and he wasn't present when Dutch and him had their spats. But he knew the way he ran his gang was different from Dutch's way. He seemed to be more violent.
He snickered, seeing the truth in Hosea's words. The world was brutal and it was just going to get worse from here.
❝ Yer tellin' me it was all sunshine and roses during your time, old man? ❞ It was a tease, a light jab at the older man. His words were a bit muffed, a bandana covered the lower half of his face, as he stared at the O'Driscoll camp ahead. It wasn't common that Sean worked with Hosea, since they had a rocky friendship, but everything seemed to be fine right now.
