Quite often, if not all the time, the princess caught herself wondering what was on her knight’s mind. Always so calm and collected, reserved, even, he was practically impossible to figure out. Even now, looking him right in the eye, Zelda couldn’t seem to break through that facade of his. Was he serious? Or was he mocking her? She could only take guesses and, perhaps, never find the answer to her question even if she asked him directly.
Thus, the young woman remained silent for a good while and only stared at Link, her bright green eyes narrowed in confusion, clearly indicating that she was at a loss for words and had little to no idea if she was meant to take his question with a smile or a grain of salt. That was when a rather intrusive thought began to take shape — a bold assumption, that, however, managed to put the girl in a mildly belligerent state of mind. Oh, how easily she jumped to conclusions when it came to her silent knight!
“Are you, by any chance, making fun of my eating habits?”
