I'm working on Chapter 33 of TQOM as I have been for weeks 😅 First full draft is finished so here's a cut from that below but I'm in full tinkering mode.

"Breathless with agony, Lucius propped his back against the slimy, wet trunk, frantically yanking at his robes to find the source of his pain. 

All down his left side, it burned, sharp and hot and relentless. Using his teeth to yank his glove from his left hand, he ran it down his body and tried to feel for the thick wetness of blood seeping through his waistcoat.

With what curse had he been hit? Who had hit him?

Three more Death Eaters trampled past him in pursuit of the girl, ignoring the way he lay immobilised in the snow, the white clouds of his panting breaths bursting through the mouth of his mask at irregular intervals. 

But Lucius had no interest in them or their assistance because at that moment his vision briefly turned to black, the cold of the ground and the hardness of the tree trunk vanishing as though he had gone entirely numb.

His mouth filled with the taste of a blood that was not there. His body throbbed with injuries he would never be able to find. It was like he was being yanked from his own body and forced into the uncomfortable, ravaged confines of someone else’s.

Granger.

With great effort, Lucius dropped his chin forward and battered the back of his head against the tree, the momentary flash of hurt in his own body rattling him back into himself. 

The hand that had been searching his side for injury dipped into the pocket of his trousers where, sure enough, he discovered that his galleon had flared to life. It burned hotter than he’d ever felt it, her call truly urgent for the first time. 

Lucius gripped the coin so tightly that its hot, narrow edge felt like it was being welded into the joins of his fingers. He needed the discomfort of it to ground him in his own body when he could feel her fading consciousness lapping so insistently at the edges of his own. "

I'm like, returning to this type of doodles, the type I did first drawing. Usually I redraw the faces 13 times to get the exact feel I want but now I'm learning to settle with my messy first time sketch is giving me a kind of ease, nd in terms of time, it is fast in comparison to the endless days spent on pieces, so it does feel like a break, doodling this way, even if everything is wonky, I want imperfections now as it has made me joyous drawing again, as I watch old games walkthrough, them being my art inspo, Nd i see those clips of wonky hands— I'm absolutely appreciative of them more & more hehe..

Clothless Sev, cuz yes it IS in the grand plan lol now I'm thinking idk how much further wips I can show if I want to keep it a vague x'

It's been forever last I was able to draw anatomy without skipping it all together, and not to worry, there's nothing under the block, it's just there.

To draw a naki Sev it's only fair to draw a Lucy one lo

Drawing bodies only to cover them up seems redundant, but it's part of keeping the drawing gears grinding cuz when I stop drawing something I forget how to do it again :' (totally did not redraw Severus's head 16 times in a row lol)

And oh, ofc Lucy totally has a bellybutton jewel c:

I'm still in a trance of the aftermath of a dream, I'd like to consider it a good one, even if I couldn't remember the majority of it. I was wearing plastic wings, plain transparent pieces of plastic cut roughly to resemble butterfly wings. At first glance it just seems I was wearing a transparent shawl floating behind me. I told who I was walking with that I could fly with these, couldn't understand why people wouldn't believe me and not only that, but they also vehemently denied that I could. I can't express the feeling of immense joy at being weightless and floating, reaching my "hideout" spot, just an extra jutting flooring in a corner of a hallway that anyone can see looking up. But no one did. nd yet i still waited. It was just as good waking up from it as dreaming of my favorite things

I'm trying to have a mind set of drawing without planning, so even if it's wonky and u focus on the non-essentials (like this venom spitting perfume bottle that I was gonna detail but had to stop myself lol), it still has your excitement saved within the picture's strokes, so I'm enjoying these wips and I hope u do too
