🐻❄️Following the Weyarn Cultural Trail ❄️🐻

Ronja und die kleine Minnie waren unterwegs auf den Spuren des Weyarner Kulturpfads. Die Winterluft war klar, der Boden knirschte unter ihren Füßen und trotz der Kälte fühlte sich alles nach Abenteuer an.

Ronja and little Minnie were out exploring the Weyarn Cultural Trail. The winter air was crisp, the ground crunched under their feet, and despite the cold, everything felt like an adventure.

Als erstes liefen sie einen Aussichtshügel hinauf. Oben entdeckten sie einen besonderen Stein, geformt wie ein Schneckenhaus. Er war so gestaltet, dass er wieder eine Treppe nach oben führte. Natürlich konnten sie nicht widerstehen - Minnie und, Ronja dicht hinterher, Schritt für Schritt ging es nach oben, immer höher.

First, they ran up a hill with a view. At the top, they discovered a spiral stone shared like a small shell. It was designed to lead upwards like a staircase. Of course, they couldn't resist - Minnie in front, Ronja close behind. Step by step, they climbed higher and higher.

Gegenüber lag ein weiterer Stein: quadratisch, mit einem Loch in der Mitte. Die beiden setzten sich hinein, blickten hinaus in die winterliche Landschaft und mussten lächeln. Manche Orte laden einfach zum Verweilen ein.

Opposite wa another stone: square, with a hole in the middle. The two sat down inside, looked out at the winter landscape and couldn't help but smile. Some places simply invite you to linger.

Weiter führte der Weg zum Kloster, wo sie an steinernen Bischofsfiguren vorbeikamen. Still standen sie da, als würden sie über den Weg wachen, den Ronja und Minnie gerade gingen.

The path continued to the monastery, where they passed stone figures of bishops. They stood there silently, as if watching over the path that Ronja and Minnie were walking.

Auf ihrer Spur entdeckten sie schließlich mehrere Findelsteine. Trotz der -10 Grad sprangen die beiden fröhlich von einem Stein zum nächsten, lachten und vergaßen für einen Moment die Kälte.

Ein Wintertag voller Bewegung, Geschichten und Spaß - und ein weiterer schöner Abschnitt auf dem Kulturpfad.

Following their trail, they eventually discovered several boulders. Despite the -10 degrees, the two happily jumped from one stone to the next, laughing and forgetting the cold for a moment.

Between Christmas and New Year, this walking time lies like a slow, steady breath. From Brenner / Brennero, the route unfolds in stages through wintery heights, across open slopes and shaded woodland, leading into Bolzano, a city in the northern Italian province of South Tyrol.

Near Bolzano, the walking grows quieter. A way of moving, carried by the ground beneath my feet and by the feeling of being part of this winter order, if only for a while.

Thoughts recede into the background, in favor of nature.

I love this Yule time, this in-between state of the years - when darkness still holds and nature turns, almost imperceptibly, toward the light.
