I totally agree with you! Maybe I’m just being emotional (lol) but I feel like all of the routes are sad except maybe Heisuke’s one. Still have to play Souji’s route. Left him for last cuz he’s my fave xD

Hahahaha we all be emotional for playing otome, no need to worry xD Hakuouki is sad theme games indeed since war won't give anyone good deed lol I will try to complete Souji's route and start Saito's route in this weekend! I spent two day reading Hijikata's route xD

They have a nice story though, and it's amaze me how much it blend into history lol I do read some part of comic of Sakamoto Ryoma and why he want Japan to open to Westerner, but this is Shinsengumi that against it to the very last, so it's kind of nice to open and think some more of both side history ;)

Oh my no no lol I don't think Hijikata's route would be much sadness, but it's kinda hit you right in the chest when you think about his position that cannot be weak in front of his men, since he is like.. Commander after all. The other guy is captain but Hijikata is more than that, he is the head of Shinsengumi so it's pretty hard to accept the fact that he is the one who need to going on while left his friends behind. Also his plan is brilliant! He must exchange his head with devil lol
