Jared: She’s the best cat in the world! Her name is Mustard and I’ve had her since I was 13 and she’s super sweet and cuddly and really lazy and kinda spoiled but I love her oh my gosh. She’s my best friend!

❅ - keeping warm/keeping cool techniques

Alana is pretty much an expert at keeping cool, from many many sweaty days out in the sun doing physicallabour.

One thing in particular that has been drilled into her head sincechildhood is: Do not. Do farm work. In the middle of the day. Don’t.

When it does reach the middle of the day, and the sun is unbearable,Alana will stay in the shade and maybe take a nap. Maybe she’ll grab an icelolly from the freezer, or a damp cloth and  have a nice cool down.

Keeping warm is a bit more difficult – Alana hates hateshates itchy wool jumpers and wearing layers, they’re so UNCOMFORTABLE–

During winter you’ll find her most mornings in a cocoon ofblankets, and unwilling to get out of it.

Okay, yes, she’ll put on a hat, scarf and gloves mom.

Probably catches a cold the first winter in Pelican Town becauseshe 1) is outside most of the time, and 2) doesn’t have her family pesteringher to wrap up warmer (Please Help My Incompetent Child Not Die Of Hypothermia like oh my goD ALANA)
