When the dust settles in King's Landing and all that nasty business with the Faith is taken care of, Margaery is freed once more and the Queen beloved by all. Cersei's power is fading and hers is growing--and it's more than about time it happens. The Kingdoms have bled enough due to Cersei's incompetence.
It's her idea to visit the Wall--the Night's Watch have defended the realm for centuries, they're all that stands between them and all the wildlings, they should meet their King and Queen. Tommen agrees, of course. He's a good boy, a sweet boy, and when the time comes Margaery will make sure he's a good king as well.
She's cold, wrapped in more furs that she can count as the Lord Commander stands in front of her, young and proud and handsome. They've been introduced formally, of course, but Margaery had wanted to know him better, to understand how the man in charge of the Wall worked and a private meeting had been arranged between them.
(Tommen may be King and hold the crown, but Margaery is the ruler in all but name, even if no one else can see it.)
"Thank you for seeing me, My Lord," she says demurely, like Jon would've been given a choice. "I thought it best if we got to know one another better. We are, after all, working for the same goal--the protection of the realm."
If she likes him, if she can trust him, she will ask about Sansa--Margaery had liked her, genuinely liked her, and she worries about the girl, worries that she's dead in a ditch somewhere, or worse. It is treason to worry about her, she knows, but Margaery worries all the same, and Jon Snow is still Sansa's half-brother. He wouldn't betray his own sister. (Probably.)
