What do we do with a swimming pool in wintertime?
I'm a first year and was pooled to a college that I like in general but is definitely missing some things I wanted to have. Does one ever get over the feeling of not being good enough for their original college? I'm forced to see the college every day as it's literally next to me.
I wasn't pooled but I know many people who are very happy at the college they were pooled to and I think after a while you just start liking your college as you grow into the life. In terms of admission, being pooled doesn't mean you're not good enough, different colleges have different quotas for subjects as well as look for slightly different candidates in terms of what the fellows in the college specialize on.. There is often no difference between people that have been pooled and ones that haven't in how good they are academically.
