Oh pretty winter flame You keep me warm in your toil You set the sky aflame making all that is frozen boil

The night descends and you defend darkness is kept at bay As you dance in your Amber light In your hypnotic shimmering way

Even as you cool and you body starts to fade Your memories like embers Casting fierce against the shade

All it takes is a sudden breath For Your embers light to glow Once again you dance so high consuming all that lies below.

But you have consumed your fuel And Your life is almost spent In your need for love You could never know what “to live” really meant.
