WRT current discussions. I'm always in this cycle of make new account because I miss being able to connect with others who are physically nonhuman -> get reminded of how unwelcoming it can be and get treated like im taking it all too seriously -> stop posting and/or just delete the account because it feels pointless. End part of a draft from september sums up my feelings well:
It gets lonely. I don't know where else to look. People misinterpret this feeling, act as though I'm belittling or invalidating them for acknowledging the fact we ARE different. Nobody is lesser than me for being nonhuman(etc) in a different way to me. I do not believe that and would never suggest that. There are things we can relate to each other with and that's great! I just hate feeling like I've found someone with the same experiences to me, knowing their biology is not that of a human, knowing they are a changeling, only to realise it's not literal for them when it IS reality for me. Idfk. If other people passively existing makes you feel insecure in your own identity, that's for you to sit with, analyse and handle. I do genuinely feel for anyone who has to deal with self-doubt, I do too. It's terrible. But It's not the fault of those others, and definitely not something they should be punished for.
(The tone of the draft is a little harsh. Apologies. It was just typed out to vent my frustrations.)
