Do I trust the devs to keep cooking and improve the story? - yes.

The issue about being a fan of an unfinished game like scarlet hollow is that you build and play characters for it, and after spending two years myself (it's been longer for others) thinking about Wren as my OC and how the story could develop, of course expectations and hopes and theories for future content will build up. One of them was a cool street smart trait save for ep 5.

I'm just a bit disappointed for the what ifs and will be grumpy about it for a while but ultimately I will get used to it. Change is always scary and I know I'm being a fussy baby about sth that will ultimately be for the best of the story, but I wanna stew in the emotion for a bit.

Sometimes touching grass comes with the realization that it's OK to be mad but yk. In a mature "I'll get used to it" kinda way. Not the demanding "CHANGE IT BACK" way. Also this is all public info

MILD SPOILER TALK AHEAD !

I am not as feral about him anymore as I used to be, which happens as time goes on and new blorbos appear, but he's still my little precious beast boy whom I will passionately protect from THAT side of the fandom

One of those characters that I was curious about from the moment I saw him, it's also rly cool to have an artist character in media! I do not think we see a lot of those, for some reason us artists always kinda neglect our own existence in stories. So I love experimenting with headcanons about him, and my character (Wren) being the unartistic one in the relationship is rly fun to explore!

That plus I think that Reese is such an extremely interesting character with a very polarising effect on the fandom/game reception. Some think he is a monster and can only ever be a monster, others see the monster and welcome it with open arms, while others do think that his ultimate fate in the clinic would be cruel, but he's wrong about the solution.

Discussions about him are very fun, and seeing everyone's personal projections and associations/comparisons of his situation. Personally I project hard on him, having been in a similar situation as him (sadly), and because a lot of the 'monster' inside not being allowed to find release can be very much a trans metaphor (if you want it to be). However, canon may still hurt us all (not an alpha tester spoiler, just me being wary of the horror in the story that is Scarlet Hollow). And I am scared that he will only ever find true happiness in my mind :')

Precious boy, I can't wait to see his story in its entirety.
