Hanzo, much like his brother, has sparrow wings. However, this time they’re the wings of a Canadian blue sparrow. (Not sure why I made Genji’s original wings peacock wings, but they are no longer that.) <’D They’re house sparrow wings now. Fun fact: Hanzo has the wings of their father, while Genji had the wings of their mother.

I get what you’re saying, don’t worry about it! And, yes, everyone’s wings are sensitive in places (and not in the sensual/sexual sense). Of course, these sensitivities very from person to person depending on their type of wings, how strong their wings are, how big/little their sensitivity is in general (their wings are just another part of their body so yanno), etc. However, some common places for wings to be sensitive are:

The bends of the wings

Where the base of the wing meets the person’s back

The very tip of the wings (not as common as the other places)

The wings’ undersides (again, not at common)

Brown sparrow wings

They look a lot softer than they actually are

They’re actually pretty scruffy

The feathers fluff up and rustle according to his emotions

They’re usually fluffed up because he’s usually a happy and/or excited boy

There’s often a feather or two out of place but he doesn’t mind (though, he’ll take the help of settling it back in place if someone points it out)

They’re a bit small so he doesn’t usually use them for gliding and the like; he has been known to use them as a last resort in combat though

Scruffy feathers = feather cuts (imagine getting cut with an arrow’s feathers; it’s a very similar pain to paper cuts but sometimes can be deeper and bleed a lot more)

Decorates them with jewelry and the like during performances

Fans like to get his feathers when they’ve fallen out; he thinks it’s a little strange but there’s been weirder things

Big beautiful swan wings

When he was younger they were his prized possession

The perfect wings

Everyone loved them and everyone wanted them

Today they’re still some of the most gorgeous wings but there’s a scar where feathers won’t grow here and a kink in a bone there from his battles

He’s not as stuck-up and arrogant as he used to be about them but the occasion preening (hah, bird pun; it also means to congratulate oneself) happens when someone gives them enough admiration

Still takes very good care of them, though he sometimes has to take a medication when they start to ache where bones didn’t heal properly

Doesn’t glide or the like with them; they’re just around for show and fighting purposes at this point in his life

He has armor for them that goes with the rest of his set and he uses them in combat often, both as defense and offense; will also use them to propel himself forward when need arises

Taught D.Va quite a bit of her combat knowledge, though she often puts her own crazy spin on the moves now (They may or may not have bonded over their battle scars; they’re a terrifying duo when they get paired up together)
