3/20/2026 - time to move on to the horizontal stabilizer tips
everything requires exact cutting to size, which is millimeterfickerei to the nth degree.... it's ridiculous how much time this takes, but it's getting there.
and of course there are two ends to the horizontal stabilizer, so all this cutting, sanding, smoothing, fitting, drilling and upsizing needs to happen twice.
3/18/2026 - swing by the hangar in the afternoon, but it's still cold and we just do a few bits and pieces on the wing tips before throwing in the towel and leaving for the hot tub to thaw out.

3/11/2026 - back in the saddle after a short break - which was used productively to get the wing tips ready for installation
9/6/2025 - plane looks good with wings - and wing tips. Those will have to be adjusted some, but overall things are coming together well...
