Even in the sky she couldn’t keep her mind light- it was weighed down with worries. It was strange, to be running to something instead of from it. Misgivings swirled in her mind like complicated patterns in seafoam as water rushed in and out of shore. What was she doing, going back? Wasn’t that the first rule, never look back?
