If you feel like you're familiar with the @8thgenerationvineyard it's because we introduced you to the Frrizanté back in July. Now, meet their Chardonnay. ⠀ ⠀ Only 10 barrels produced of this soft and gentle oaked wine (you won't find this at the liquor store). It is complex (yet loaded with notes of tropical fruit). The terrain specific soft undertones are all a mirror of the terroir as it comes from their Estate Vineyard in Okanagan Falls. The oak plays the role of a nice backdrop so that the fruit can shine in the front. Ripe dried Apricot, Nectarine, and nutty flavours combined with a soft but very light buttery finish. All flavours combined in this wine allow it to pair fantastically with our luscious carbonara. ⠀ ⠀ You will not believe this is a Chardonnay.
