You’ve been meaning to get into running. But you find it so boring, is the trouble. You need some kind of incentive. Your solution: spend several weeks mapping out failsafe routes from which you can easily deviate to cross running water, and put on your running shoes when you hear the hounds start to cry. Racing the Wild Hunt is unconventional, certainly, but it motivates like nothing else.

Hi there! My sister recently evolved her shiny eevee into an umbreon (After a lot of work). She's not really a night person though, and has recently discovered that her beloved Umbreon is sensitive to the morning light. Any advice?
Is it a behavioral distaste for light, or is it causing physical damage? Umbreon are largely nocturnal, so a little dislike for bright lights isn’t surprising, but if Umbreon is having a huge amount of stress or developing a rash or other issues when exposed to light there’s another problem going on.
 If Umbreon was gotten from a breeder, there’s a non-zero chance that her shininess was the result of selective breeding, which can sometimes bring with it some health defects, including skin conditions. Umbreon’s new, shorter fur may not be blocking as much as it did when it was an Eevee, leading to potential sunburns and other issues. I would recommend a full medical analysis done at a pokemon center. They might be able to prescribe something to help if it’s a physical issue.
If it turns out to be largely behavioral, find light levels she doesn’t dislike and take her out then. Even if your sister isn’t a morning person, a 6-7 pm walk shouldn’t be too big a deal for either of them. Good luck!
