Tiger is sort of the standard for what fey are supposed to be in Hazel’s mind. She’s beautiful and clever and magic but also capricious and occasionally cruel. Hazel loves the first part, but is wary of the second. She’s never felt the us vs them mentality that many fey seem to have toward humans and she’s never understood how so many of the older fey fail to realize that they need humans. The fact that Tiger is so much older than Hazel leads to the occasional “old lady” jokes and asking if she gets a senior citizen discount. 

Sorrel: watch over nettie please

Garnet adores Tiger. You’d be hard pushed to find someone in Court that she would choose over her. One of her closest friends and in Seelie terms, not that much younger than her, so from the very beginning they were close. If Garnet ever gets an itch to party and Sorrel’s not replying to her, it’s Tiger she’ll hit up next. Garnet really enjoys their ‘friendship’ and nights when an insecurity starts to keep her awake, it’s really nice to have someone to turn to and make her feel better about herself. If Garnet ever does get married, she’ll really miss the giggling ( and everything else, of course ) as they sneak off together to fool around.
