Today is celebrating how "wind energy makes a real difference to the places we call home" with WindEurope and GWEC collecting stories of those "who are proud of their turbines and the positive benefits they bring to their daily lives." I have never actually written directly about wind power, but wind has been a major part of some stories I have written like:

"Twinkle toes, why don’t you show them your wind magic?…Since you are an airbender after all."
Toph's request was welcome, but he didn't appreciate her calling him that name, at least not in front of people that he didn’t know very well. But, he wouldn't let that bother him, this time.
"Fine. I can do much more with my wind magic than moving some rocks around…and the air scooter...let me show you the power…of an airbender!"
Although he had mastered all four elements, controlling air was the one he was most familiar with, and had the deepest connection to. He had to keep his skills sharp if he wanted to protect not just his girlfriend but the rest of his comrades. He could have wowed them with a tornado or manipulated air which would lift or deflect heavy objects. He didn't use air in a deadly way since he was a pacifist, after all. He grabbed his glider and used hands to airbend himself into the sky, flying across the town and enjoying himself. They were all amazed, but Katara was the most effusive.
"That looks good, sweetie!...you look so majestic going through the sky...like an eagle!"

The first fic in my series, "An Unlikely Alliance Against Evildoers", later published on Squidge World with the name "Jack, the Best Friends Squad, and the Crimson Waste" which can be read here: https://squidgeworld.org/works/56668
One man stood strong, as wind whipped across the lifeless desert's dunes. It was a no man's land of sorts. He stood a little under 6 feet. His long black hair, tied up in a chonmage, blew with the wind. He was wearing white and gray gi, worn in the style of a kimono, a white obi tied around his waist, and a pair of wooden shoes, or geta. They clacked as he walked. This man was named Jack. He was also known as Samurai Jack or The Samurai by others he had fought with and befriended in the past. He had no idea where he was. Last he remembered, he'd jumped into a portal. He had to travel back in time to stop Aku. The latter was the master of darkness, the essence of evil, a shapeshifter who had imprisoned his world. He had to destroy Aku with with his magic samurai sword, a katana to be exact. His weapon, once wielded by his father, was formed by divinities of his world.
As the wind began dying down, he shouted. "Hello! Anyone out there!" His voice echoed across the landscape.

The updated version, entitled "Korra and Asami's Unexpected Descent from the Sky, Rae and Claire's Confusion, and May and Aleah's Wonder [Updated Version]", is on Squidge World, and it can be read here: https://squidgeworld.org/works/92250
As the two golden-haired girls watched intently, Korra began using her hands and bending water from a nearby pond, all while she levitated herself in the air. Coming outside after seeing all the wind, Claire was astounded. How could someone do something like that?
She knew that Yu was good at water magic and that Thane was good with wind magic. In fact, Yu could even use water magic to fight from a distance, either creating ice or water barriers, ice arrows, ice spikes, and standard healing abilities. All the while, she was aware that Rod was a master at using fire magic, allowing him to call forth soldiers of fire to fight on his behalf. The latter could even self-destruct, exploding on his command. This paled in comparison to what Korra could do.
Claire, curious about Korra's abilities, approached. She wanted to see what else this mystery woman could do. She was clearly a dual-caster, but no one else was a quad-caster like sister Manaria, right?
