Train Whistle part 4
"Why do you have a gun...?" You repeat again, more slowly this time. You can't help but wonder if this is how you die. Dean looks at Sam and sighs, tilting his head slightly. "I don't think you'd believe us if we told you." Sam says quietly, looking at you in the eyes. You feel the confusement spread to your face. "Why? What is it?" Dean sighs and announces in a slightly annoyed tone, "They always say the same things..." But Sam ignores him and turns fully around to look you in the eye. His eyes are so calming and soothing as you start back into them. "Monsters are real." You suddenly jump a little. "What? How do you mean?" "He means monsters exist and they can kill you. This gun," Dean announces, holding up a gun that has the faint smell of salt, "can shoot a ghost."
You laugh a little, not exactly in humor but more of the fact you don't like the silence. "So you're saying Big Foot is real?? And Casper the friendly ghost?" You smile a bit. But Sam's pittyfull expression and Dean's sigh makes you rethink your decision. "Well I'm sort of." Sam says after a minute. "Not exactly Big Foot but more along the lines of ghosts, demons, vampires, and that kind of thing." You stare at him. "And angels. Speaking of which..." Dean says, looking back at Sam, "Maybe we should call Cass."
You jump to alert in sudden fear of this new name. "Who's that?" You say quickly, getting ready to grab your bag quickly if need be. Both brothers notice your discomfort and Dean quickly says, "He's sort of our angel helper. It's kind of hard to explain but sometimes when we need him he can help us out. He's saved out lives multiple times." You can't help but notice the faint trace of amusement in Sam's face as Dean says this. Sam calmly picks up a water bottle from the floor of the car and opens it. You remark innocently, "And you like him?" Dean looks confused and Sam chokes on the water he chose to try to drink at that moment. "Like who? Cass?" You nod as Sam wipes the water off his face. "Well he's our friend so yes we like him?" You decide to drop it. Suddenly you notice a figure walking up to the car and yell at the brothers.
Both immediately jerk to attention and look in that direction. "Well speak of the devil." Dean unlocks the car and motions for you to get out. You start to grab your bag but Sam gives you a strange glance so you decide to leave it. Walking around you car you get a better view of the man, the last of the days storm slow drizzle falling around him. His tan trench coat is large and billowing giving him the effect of being much larger then he actually was. "This," Dean remarks, turning to you, "is Cass. Our angel friend." Cass turns to you and you get a good look at his face. You suddenly feel scared and peaceful at the same time. But the fear takes over. "Who is this?" Cass says, taking a quick step toward you and looking into your face. You can help but look back into his bright blue eyes.
"We just picked her off the train tracks a while ago. She was just standing there." "Indeed." Cass remarks, his gaze softening. "We must bring her back to her family however. I have something important for you to attend to." Dean's glance falls on the angel and he suddenly says, "Listen here Cass. First of all we ain't your bitch so if you already have a case yours is going to need to wait. And (Y/N) said they can't go home." Cass turns to Dean and suddenly is right next to him, holding him by his jacket. You take a step back, surprised at this new turn of events. Sam stand next to you and puts an arm around you. He doesn't look afraid so you look back at Dean and Cass. You honestly can't tell if Dean is about to get beat up or kissed. Both faces are emotionless. Sam quietly says to you, "This happens sometimes. It's ok." And pulls you away. You walk away from the Impala and a short way into the forest while a harsh argument starts between Dean and Cas. (TBC in part 5)
This show has always been about two brothers. Two brothers that had nothing but each other and fought with everything in their power to keep it that way. Yes, I'm upset about Supernatural ending. This show wasn't a fictional world for me. It was just as real as anything else. And this is why it's going to hurt alot when I hear Carry on my wayward son for the very last time, when I'll see the road so far and when I'll finally see how everything ends. Because more than anything I want the boys to be happy. They deserve that. Team free will 2.0 deserves that.
Is it weird that I can depict what season is on by what Sam's hair looks like? I mean cus I can and I thinks it's becoming one of my hidden talents
