THE CURVE OF HER LIPS, HIDDEN THROUGH A SCOFF...  jaw dropping and brows shooting up her forehead. the pair of brother rarely see things through her eyes; though countless times she’s told them that her way of doing things typically brings BETTER results. besides, who's willingly going to talk to two old dudes when there’s a young female in tow who can better speak the language of other young people. claire proved this with sam, not that long ago. she’d gotten answers EASILY. he could never. call it an ego boost  ( not that the young hunter needs a boost in her confidence ) .  the corner of her lip quirks upwards; dean’s pulling out the childish insults  -  that’s how she knows she’s winning this one.

- - - -  MUCH LIKE A PETULANT CHILD... the young blonde sits in the passenger seat, unmoving. having the winchesters in her life, along with jody and alex, she’s gotten better at arguing her point. standing her ground. gaze travels slowly until meeting dean’s eyes, fully expecting him to already have a DEATH GLARE pointed at her. despite how some of her hunts have turned out, she still believes that she knows what she is doing. that she can HANDLE herself. for a moment, she’s silent. refusing to cave first. and then, a sigh, shoulders slumping.

      ❛ oh come on, dean. this is an easy job! let me come with you. ❜  she pauses and adds,  ❛ i’m not leaving this vehicle, so        . ❜

       dean’s   offer   may   be   SIMPLE,  but   the   strawberry   bombshell   is   touched.   she   isn’t   used   to   that,   usually   the   one   everyone   else    depends   on   with   her   psychic   ability   &   stellar   intellect   as   if   she   were   some   kind   of   omnipotent   goddess   among   mortals   ---   and   she   tends   to   minimize   her   own   vulnerability   while   doing   her   best   to   save   them.   her   pride   would   never   allow   her   to   ask,    but   sometimes   the   banshee   could   use   some   HELP   &   a   wistful   yet   genuine   smile   blooms   upon   milky   features.    ❛  i’ll   scream.   i’m   pretty   sure   it’ll   reach   you,  ❜   she   cracks   facetiously,   sure   to   remember   this.   she   knew   there   was   a   reason   she   liked   him   so   much.    ❛  thanks.  ❜

- - - -  LIPS PART SLIGHTLY, FEATURES ALREADY HARDENED...  she waits, half expecting a lecture to follow, or some bullshit story that’s supposed to teach her a lesson. when neither comes, claire crosses her arms over her chest and stands her ground  ( as if she would ever give up and give in. )   ❛ what do i want you to say? ❜  she repeats with a scoff, taking a step closer, gaze having to flick up to meet dean’s. despite still being young and possibly a BIT NAIVE, it’s not as if this is her first hunt, hell      claire wasn’t old enough to drive by the time she’d chased down her first monster. she sure as hell doesn’t need an protector. certainly not an OLD AND STUBBORN hunter; even if it is dean.

I’m sorry.”
