Menu Monday: In 1876, Princeton student Moses Taylor Pyne (Class of 1877) attended a reunion at Williston Seminary in Easthampton, Massachusetts (now named Williston Northampton School), and probably stayed at Hill's Mansion House, a grand hotel. Some notable historical dishes include the tomato catsup--likely specified as tomato because ketchup came in many varieties, not just the tomato kind we'd think of today--and Halford sauce, which was very popular in the 19th century but is now gone altogether.
