Young Will then commenced to singing the gospel tune 'Every Praise' at top volume for a solid 3 hours, until the kidnapper's will was broken and he kicked Willie out of the vehicle (unharmed) and sped off. Willie ran to a nearby house and called his godmother to let her know he was safe.
