Tal vez no debería sentirse tan afectado por la situación. Sí, un par de niños (mellizos) de ocho años de edad habían decidido ir con un tipo que se presentó esa noche como Peter Pan. Y sí, ese par de niños eran sus hermanos menores.  Y por esa misma razón le afectaba. Esos niños, a quienes había cuidado desde pequeños porque sus padres eran adictos al trabajo o algo peor, habían decidido que era preferible irse con un completo extraño (al que idolatraban por cierto cuento infantil) que seguir con él.

Aparte de sentirse herido, estaba molesto y no sabía exactamente con quién. ¿Con ellos? ¿Con ese duende endemoniado que había aparecido en su casa y se los había llevado? ¿Con él por permitirlo?

Una parte de él le pedía a gritos que no permitiese que la situación le afectara, después de todo, los niños son viscerales, aunque los adultos a veces lo superen y, hasta ese momento, ese par no había dado muestras de que algo les faltase.

Aparte del problema principal (el que consideraba secuestro porque llevarse a niños pequeños sin permiso de sus guardianes no podría ser considerado de otra forma), también estaba el hecho de que había sido cuando él estaba a cargo de ellos (aunque darle el trabajo de padre de dos a un chico de dieciséis también debería ser un crimen) y, como punto extra, estaba seguro que el duende endemoniado (sí, sí, es un niño que nunca crece, pero para él era un duende) los había llevado a un sitio al que él no podría llegar fácilmente. No tenía polvo de hada y dudaba mucho que hubiese algún medio de transporte que pudiese llegar hasta Nunca Jamás. Al inicio no estaba muy seguro que ese fuera el destino pero, luego de ver flotar a ese par de mocosos rebeldes, no quedaban muchas opciones disponibles. 

Pues sí, a buscar el camino a Nunca Jamás. ¿Cómo llegar a la segunda estrella a la derecha? Ni idea, ¿Esa era siquiera una indicación válida?

That would be hilarious. Daniel and Alex would totally be thrown by the fact they have different moms - Daniel would be totally confused by the idea of his dad with anyone but Cordelia, and I’m guessing Alex would be (if he even knew any of the details about Cordelia) confused at the idea of his dad and her staying together that long. Plus the whole lack of Anya ever and his own mom - and the AliciaVerse equivalent of Roe wouldn’t even be a Slayer, since the potentials weren’t activated.

I’m guessing neither of them would be at all surprised by the fact that they’re both bi, because duh, but Daniel (who is actually somewhat tall) would be surprised at Alex being not.

But they would totally be brothers from another mother, yeah, and I can easily see them getting along, once the whole weirdness thing passed. They’d probably spend ages swapping stories about their different dimensions, and completely like ‘no, really? Wait, you’re shitting me.’

The big clash would be that Alex (from your posts) is pretty mellow and Daniel isn’t mellow - he’s strung out at all, but no one could call Daniel Chase Harris mellow, especially not when he’s tinkering with his or another crossbow (Jack, who doesn’t know about vamps, really doesn’t get why Daniel’s so into crossbows and practicing with them, etc, and occasionally jokes that Daniel has a ‘crossbow fetish’. A guaranteed way to piss Daniel off is to interrupt him when he’s tinkering in general, especially with a crossbow.)

The other thing is that when Daniel first sees him, going off your faceclaim and aesthetic for him, Daniel’s first thought would be ‘who is that cute guy?’ and then be totally like ‘wait, wtf’ freaked out by thinking his half-brother from a different dimension was cute like that’s still freaking incest.
