“You too?” she raised an eyebrow. “Isak told me the same.  No wonder you are cute together.”she teased. “At least you two found each other here...I know circumstances aren’t the best, but...it’s something. I’m still praying my siblings don’t get caught. I’m not sure I’d resist so many bad news.”

“You really aren’t asking that, Hunt. Not after all I’ve been through... “she started saying, “I passed that time where I’d be miserable about break ups and all that jazz.”she lied. Though she didn’t want to tell her friend she was still broken about Axel, it seemed he already knew, but could she blame him? After all they were best friends.

They were lying in Ari’s bed,the princess’s eyes closed, her heart happy that her best friend (he was like a brother to her) was there now. It was bittersweet but at least Hunter was there. “I wish you weren’t...But I’m glad you are” she trailed off before feeling her body relax.

It was sweet of Hunter to protect her like that, but she knew where she was getting to when she let him in. Little she knew that she was going to be heartbroken faster than she wanted to, but Hunter needed to understand that it was her fault to open her heart to love again, not anyone’s else. “I care about him too much to see him dead…I…I simply need to get over it.”she assured, not knowing if she’d be able to do so.

The princess took her best friend hands in hers and gave him a soft smile. “Me too...that’s what keeps me sane, memories and the hope that one day I will see my siblings and parents again”

    NIKITA NEVER KNOWS HOW to deal with compliments.
